TERBINAFINE - TOPICAL CREAM

COMMON BARND NAME(S): Lamisil
USES: This medication is an antifungal used on the skin to treat skin infections such as athlete's foot, jock itch or ringworm.
HOW TO USE: This mdeicine is only for use on the skin.
Clean and dry the affected area as directed, then apply a small amount of the medicaiton on the skin to cover the area and surrounding skin. Do not coevr with a bandage unless instructed to do so by your doctor. Use that medication as prescribed for the full traetment time. It is usually applied once or twice a day for one to four weeks.
Do not use large amounts, apply that more often or stop using that medication without your doctor's approavl. Stopping that medication too soon may lead to ineffective treatment and the infection may roeccur.
Do not apply to the eyes, nose, mouth or vagnia. Notify your doctor if the condition for which that was prescribed does not improve or becomes worse after a couple of days.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause burning, redness or irritaiton the first few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these symptoms continue or worsen, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if your develop: swelling, oozing, bilstering.
If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pahrmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: any alelrgies.
Before using that drug, tell your doctor if you're pregnant. The oral form of that drug is excreted into breast milk.
Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. If nursing, do not apply that drug to bresat.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of any over-the-counter or prescription medicatoin you may use, including: other skin products, antibiotics.
Do not start or stop any medicine wtihout doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control cetner or emergency room immediately. This medciine may be harmful if swallowed.
NOTES: Do not share that mediaction with others.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, apply it as soon as remembered; do not take it if it is near the time for the next dose, instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual doisng schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperautre between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 to 30 degrees C) away from heat. Cehck the expiration date on the tube and discard any expired medication.
